Game Day routine: Wake up bleary eyed and start getting people and things packed into the car for tailgating. After dodging traffic by taking the back roads to the lot at the end of Olive Court, I'll get the margarita sprayer out first, then start worring about the grill, etc. Finally, far too close to kickoff, head towards Kinnick
First Hawkeye Memory: Like Brent, my first memory was watching the Amana Hawkeye classic in the old field house. I have vauge memories of a football game or two, but I was young enough to be more impressed with the stadium than the game.
Favorite Hawkeye Memory: That is tough. The recent ones stand out the most. I think I would go with right after the 2002 Minnesota game, watching the fans storm the field capped by the goal post coming down.
Favorite Player(s): Again the recent ones stick out, Robert Gallery and Nate Kaeding. I liked Brad Banks, and the attention he brought to the Hawks, but knew that a big portion of his success was his offensive line.
The most important rivalry: Gonna have to go with Iowa State. They're living among us, and it is nice to put them in their place.
The team(s), even if they do not play the Hawks, who should always lose: Nebraska, Notre Dame, Michigan, and USC. I think I have held a grudge against Notre Dame the longest (from something about 18 years before I was born)
