and this looks to be a very very good class coming in the next year. I wonder if the last ride will be used, and if so, on a JC wing athlete, a game changer maybe? _________________ Our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain

Yes...fantastic news again. Gives us more depth at point guard, and that adds to an already great 2012 class. ESPN had them ranked as the 12th-best recruiting class nationally, even before Anthony Clemmons.
Not sure if Fran will use that 6th available scholly or not, but it sounds like he'd do it if the right player came along. At this late stage, another unheralded HS senior seems unlikely. Maybe a late decommit from another school who fits our needs?
In any case, I'll be very happy if all 5 of the current verbals sign during the early period in November.

If a JC player is added, it balances out the classes, as would saving it till next year. _________________ Our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain

Good point about balance, Henery. For Iowa to establish long-term improvement, we can't have a one-and-done season with 8 seniors all graduating at once with nobody to replace them the following year.
