Indeed, headline pickins are slim, as there's more about RAGBRAI than Hawkeye Football. Still, a couple recruiting nuggets, Bryan Bulaga signs his NFL contract, another look back at "MAD" Basketball in the Tom Davis era, and academic honors for Track and Field. On Iowa!!

Hawkeye HeadlinesYou can feel it. The Prime Time Basketball league is done. The dog days of summer are in full swing. The calendar is just about to flip over to August. Football is RIGHT around the corner. And the Big Ten Media days in Chicago start on Monday. Check out the coverage as we ramp up to next week's official kickoff of the 2010 Football season. Plus, the Magic Bus may have run out of tricks, Football recruiting, and Iowa plays a key role in Penn State's "key stretch".

In Men's Hoops, Darryl Moore can still mix it up with the youngsters, Eric May is working hard, Coach McCaffery is looking ahead to the 2011 recruiting class, and Roy Marble Sr. tries to make a fresh start, while Devyn Jr. is trying to succeed in his first go-round as a Hawkeye.
